I have never grown fennel, i need to research it.
These caterpillars like many plants in the Apiaceae. I raised them on parsley, and Iβve heard they like dill too. Fennel is in the Apiaceae too.
Let them "lick" you with that orange thing. It smells like whatever they're eating on. Its a repulsive defense smell to predators but to humans it actually kinda smells good.
I just think its hilarious to let a caterpillar mlem you with a neon orange tongue thing.
