I don’t think it was unreasonable for people to have gotten the vax. I think we were in a rough spot and were doing the best we could with the information we had on the fly. I got the first shot thinking it was helping out both myself and my fellow Americans.

Once it became apparent that the entire pitch about stopping transmission was a lie and we refused to pivot, it created a feelings of mistrust and frustration that people will never forget.
