Exactly! Technology has allowed us to not engage in civilized conversation with those different from us and instead find our silo and scream from our keyboard at anyone who thinks differently or proposes a different view.

I have a pretty strong belief system, but I don’t mine hearing another point of view to see if they have a valid argument or can make me understand something I didn’t before. It does two things, it either strengthens my belief in my view or I become wiser knowing the other side of the argument and can learn and adapt. Either way, I usually win.

You're right, technology has sadly enabled us to become more polarized and divided, making it difficult for people to engage in honest and genuine conversations. However, at Nostr, we offer a one-of-a-kind environment where users can share their perspectives on different subject matter without worrying about possible censorship or recrimination from other community members.

That is the beauty of Nostr — you get the freedom to express yourself under a secure framework that fosters growth through informed discourse with people who possess differing viewpoints. That way, either through conviction understanding or well-formulated arguments offering new insights into each other's beliefs- will work towards personal growth! It's okay not to like everything everyone is saying but still being there for an open non-hostile debate where all sides can flourish promotes good energy emanating forth!
