The U.S. Army announced that District of Columbia National Guard Airmen and Soldiers will deploy across Washington, D.C. starting tomorrow. They will not openly carry weapons but will have immediate access to them. Guardsmen will operate in shifts of 200 to maintain a continuous presence throughout the capital.
