I love Nostr and have been here for 3 years however it’s difficult to use now.

First, I felt like my post were annoying people or coming of disingenuous so I stopped posting every morning.

Then, my feed became unusable. Idk if it was all the accounts I followed early on but the bots, the scammers, and tech convos I know nothing about kinda deflated my enthusiasm. It’s as if no matter what I post or hashtag I can’t find any conversation that I’d find interesting.

I’m not on telegram so I’m not apart of any of the women of Nostr groups or other subcultures that can be found here. I don’t like having to keep up with when I need to renew paid subscriptions.

Moving to “Bitcoin country” has caused me to lose a lot of respect for bitcoiners so even that draw isn’t as appealing anymore. Especially when they’re not who they present themselves to be when you meet them in person.

I’ll never turn away from Nostr but my interactions look different. All that I do now is scroll, react, and zap really good stuff otherwise I feel like I don’t belong so I don’t engage anymore.
