Food is food. You can buy the same chicken, fish, beef, vegetables, bread etc at every store.
I like Aldi for low prices without having to give my phone number or downloading an app. It’s more private, which is far less fiat.
Alas, there are were no carts today. 😭 so I went to my second favorite store and bought the same shit I would have bought at aldi and I just paid more 🤷♀️

I do it all the time, but I also live in a city. Not a lot of land to plant crops here but I did manage to grow some tomatoes and cucumbers on the patio this summer.
