Didn’t think there was an explicit liquidation price
There’s always a liquidation price, doesn’t mean it has to be explicit.
Correct me if I’m wrong but even if Bitcoin dropped to $14k and their assets were equal to their debt, they wouldn’t necessarily have to liquidate 🤷♂️
Correct. 14k is the price where their debt burden equals their assets.
afaik microstrategy’s got no forced liquidation price on its bitcoin stash since its debt is mostly unsecured notes due 2028+ but a bitcoin dip under $13-15k could pinch if they can’t raise more cash if i recall correctly
That was true months ago, I believe they’ve taken on more leverage since.
