But seriously, the grey clay filled in the cracks really well. I am ready to move on to the final stage of sanding.

After that, I'll do him all over with a damp paint brush to make any fibres sticking up lay flat. Then it's in with the white paint (bye bye stretch marks 🤞) and finally the glaze.
