It's generally supported but I did not saw zapps counter on iris client. I see them on Amethyst tho.

Yes Iris has no zap support yet. But snort.social does, as far es web clients go.

Iris has zap support if you hard refresh the browser. Hold cmd/ctrl+shift and press R

Let me know if that shows zaps?

I think it's only lighting tips in Iris for now .. I "zapped" your comment in Iris and it does not show up as a zap.
