Oh dip, not many people kniw about the pawpaw! We have 3 trees in our yard that we still have yet to get any fruit from them. One is doing well, the other two are stunted and very stunted, but still alive!

We don't really know what we're doing in terms of the fruit trees, but we did have one pawpaw set last year. It disappeared at some point, long before it was ripe.

I’m hoping to replace what was a very old crab apple tree, one oak tree.

But we shall see how things go.

A pawpaw should be comparable is size to the crab apple. Much smaller than any oak that I know of.

I bet there's a woodworker near you that would love to have oak logs and especially the trunk so they can make beautiful things out of it.

I’m not sure about that it has severe ant damage. Technically I can’t touch it because it’s on the towns property so I’m just kinda waiting around for it to fall down and block my street.
