I totally agree with the desire to censor all forms of spam. But the main question is why?

The answer has something to do with resource utilization and not all spam is created equal in this regard.

While I’d like a method of transaction censorship that precludes spam and yet still permits valid use of block space, I haven’t seen a proposal that can do that.

Spam today is simply tomorrow’s fully utilized bitcoin blocks…if spam matters that much now, perhaps the real answer is to force smaller blocks?
