I’m currently stuck somewhere in agnostic land.

Literalism and low IQ / mean Christians drove me away from Christianity.

Buddhism made sense after many psychedelic voyages.

Am largely sympathetic to “life is a camping trip for god”

Pretty much believe in reincarnation.

Intelligent design is possible. I’m unclear on that though.

The eternal soul is likely real.

Tibetan book of the dead mirrors my drug experiences.

Still can’t really get to the place Christians do where they have a personal relationship with / talk to Jesus.

Sounds nice, but when I talk to god it’s silence on my end.

I guess I just don’t feel that mystical spirit thing other people do. Slightly jealous. It seems like a nice conscious experience lol

In my opinion.. claiming that close personal relationship is just another virtue signal. Speaking/hearing from, even more so. Just seekers like the rest of us.

It's a fair opinion, but super foolish to paint them with the same brush as if nobody could have a close relationship with God.

For sure. "Close" is relative, anyway. Perhaps it's like a mathematical limit, there are many teachings that say God is unreachable. Yet it's a central concept of most religions is God's oneness with His creation.
