Adherence to strange narratives reveals a lot implicitly. Why do they want to diminish / stigmatize meat consumption? And who creates such monolithic narratives that are followed with nearly 100% consensus?

Saifadean also talks about how inflation doesn’t show up nearly as much in cheap / toxic fake-foods and so governments and corporations also have a monetary reason to push those things too. Less inflation means their scam can last longer.
But I absolutely agree they want a weak, unwell and confused populace. This is very likely the primary reason for the anti-meat agenda.
