FYI, if you ever decide to get a green card you should delay that as long as possible.
Green card holders become taxed like citizens after holding a green card in eight calendar years.
Once you cross that milestone you must pay that expatriation tax like Ver. But if you surrender your green card before the milestone, then no exit tax.

Yeah to be fair it’s a place that culturally is technology friendly and has lots of great bitcoiners. That said there’s no denying there are HUGE issues in lamps every other arena. Especially for families trying to keep costs down while bootstrapping a new business without VC funding. For that use case it may be one of the worst spots.

I've been to Austin once and the DFW area half a dozen times. I have a lot of old friends in DFW area. The breweries were great and the food was great. Austin was my favorite though.
