Ultra religious view: Inflation is the product of the devil himself. After the Flood, it's likely that the money magic was (re)invented in Babylon. Later it was exported to the Lydian Empire, the Roman Empire and so on. Fast forward to the Federal Reserve which has perfected this grotesque time and labor worldwide gigantic theft.
