I've seen an article re: Deutsche Bank, and their huge position of Short Gold Futures.. The value of the sales according to the piece, was 20x the GDP of Germany. Paper gold is how real gold prices are manipulated. If those who shorted all that gold had to buy actual gold to settle their trades, just think of how high gold's price would be.
