I have 3 S9's running in my house at the moment. This is my second winter that I'm heating my house with Bitcoin mining.

What square footage?

And youâre not using any other backup heating? I built a tiny house with an entresol this last fall (~110 sq ft) & was wondering if a single S9 would be enough đ
i have my heat pump set at 68 degrees and the S9's keep the house between 68-72, depending on how could it is outside. if it's really cold, the heat pump kicks on and runs overnight, but the S9's top it off nicely. i am certain that 1 S9 will keep your tiny house warm.
Sweet, Thank you đ¤
Sounds like you also have your own grid âĄď¸
i do not.
Derek, just out of curiosity⌠if you have the power to rock 3 S9âs, why wouldnât you get some newer, more efficient asic to 2-3x your stacking? Or is that on your roadmap as youâve just been so slammed and havenât had the time?
i want to do that, but i also don't want to spend thousands of dollars, nor do i have thousands of dollars readily available to deploy at S19s.đ
the struggle is right now ASICs are cheap as hell, but so is bitcoin. it's probably cheaper right now to continue smash buying with all extra fiat than to buy an ASIC. that said, as the price goes back up ASICs will go back up too.
Yeah agree đŻ. The dual heating/stacking makes the equation a little more complex too in terms of what you need more but I get it. Everyoneâs situation is different but props on using them for legit heating. Thats on my roadmap someday.
