Bigotry born of ignorance.

Anyone who has spent any time with the Iranians or Arabs, will realise they are incredibly proud people. They have a strong culture and strong beliefs.

They live in one of the harshest environments on the planet 60oC by day and -10oC or more at night in places. They have survived this for thousands of years. Their laws are tough for a reason; beacuse Nature is tougher.

Despite this, they are enormously generous. On many occasions travellers will be welcomed and provided incredible hospitality. They are smart, astute, careful. And like us they celebrate family. These are the people.

We in the West have been abusing these nations, for far too long. They are angry now and understandably. It is time to recognise our wrongs and attempt to settle debts.

I don't endorse terrorism anymore than I endorse your actions Peter Todd. There are two sides to every story, just like you have two ears and one mouth. Try to use them in those proportions. You might lean a little.

Incidentally you also have two eyes not one.
