Yeah that time was very rough mentally for both of us. Especially for a mother like my wife who could and was pumping but our children could tolerate it and wouldn’t latch. I threw away a deep freeze full of breast milk after the 1 yr mark because we couldn’t even donate it at that point. I’ve blocked those memories from my mind.
