People do seem to be more receptive to Bitcoin at the moment.

I just bought a second hand item for $390 but only had $350 on me.

I asked whether they were happy with $350 or I should go into town & get some money from the ATM?

I added at the end, "or I could pay you the $40 in Bitcoin?".

The guy's eyes lit up. He agreed because he wanted to have a play with it. I spent the next 30 mins answering questions & chatting. He was Bitcoin aligned, he just hadn't taken the leap yet. He knew a lot more about it than I expected. He knew what a Satoshi was & how many in Bitcoin.

Yeah man. I've had very little success in the past.

By the end he was talking about saving half a Bitcoin worth of fiat. We talked about how he could get around the banks.

I invited them along to the local meet-up.

I’m convinced that THIS is the organic process of (durable) adoption. Not NGU itself. But feeling into this fundamental shift so deeply that, it turn, it literally shifts you at the genetic level 🧬 🦋
