In the last couple of years we went from "innocent until proven guilty" to "prove your innocence". Because that's what KYCing and surveillance is.

If you've done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide doesn't work when people keep trying to criminalize wrongthink.

Tonight had a debate with a friend regarding a former politician in our country. By his words presumption of innocence should not aply as he is probably guilty... what a sad turn in the world.

The State is getting paranoid.

You should see the new hate speech laws that's trying to be pushed into law in Ireland. If an offence may be (as opposed to “was”) committed against certain groups. The burden of proof switches to the accused, rather than the accuser.
