nostr could implement decentralized naming system like this: first in with required pow gets the name for 1 year from note creation date

then query registered names with #d, like used in hostr

after or expiration anyone can register the name with best pow score for another year. or maybe the registration duration would be based on pow score always, so there is no risk of loosing domain if needed for long period

so 10x more pow, and you get 10 years

this can replace whatever nip it is that requires hosting web server to get a nostr@nostr.name
