yes I am being disingenuous on some level. I've used monero before, and truly have nothing against it, but i don't think it's a necessity to transact privately.

by learning how bitcoin works, one learns that it is entirely transparent. this allows one to plan on how/where to acquire coins outside of exchanges, and when/where they may potentially link utxos and potentially identity.

similarly to my being disingenuous, I think it's disingenuous to say Bitcoiners need monero to spend privately. but I guess this is where we get into semantics about privacy & anonymity.
