I can feel that very much, remembering this : To accept one’s past – one’s history – is not the same thing as drowning in it; it is learning how to use it. An invented past can never be used; it cracks and crumbles under the pressures of life like clay in a season of drought.

Discussion

My experiences are far from being good. But I learned with them major lessons and many things I am grateful. The most important one to have self love and self esteem. To never accept less than is being given, on a regular basis. To not keep quiet when disrespect is being presented. To walk away when people can't see nor appreciate what is being offered.
