Pixels are good because you can go completely FOSS and run graphene or calyx os. Samsung is also nice.. their secure partitioned space is good for privacy (like a secret computer within your phone that can't communicate back to the phone part).

I have a Samsung for normal use.. and a graphene os pixel that I buy anonymous esims for with #btc (no phone number, but can use data etc.)
I am pretty sure it's more than that? But maybe not.. for sure you cannot interact with the separate space from your main profile (can't see files, can't copy paste between them)..
Some of the "bad" reviews for it are people pissed off that they forgot the password and now the files in there are completely unrecoverable.
I think it's fully segregated / encrypted... but I'm not an expert so could be wrong.
