क्या कोई मेरे Public address से मेरी private key पता लगा सकता है?

- नही!

Bitcoin की security Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) (Asymmetry क्रिप्टोग्राफी) पर आधारित है।

- Public Key को Private Key से derive करना easy है।

लेकिन उल्टा करना computationally impossible है।

- Public Key से Private Key पता लगाना यानी इसे reverse करना Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Problem (ECDLP) को solve करने जैसा मुश्किल है। इसे crack करने के लिए trillions of years और unimaginable computing power चाहिए।

- 256-Bit Security की वजह से Bitcoin keys इतनी लंबी हैं कि brute-force से crack करना practically impossible है।

- SHA-256 और ECC आज की quantum computing से भी safe हैं।
