Owner of WeBuyCars South Africa (massive car wholesaler) - went to one of their branches today and a portion of the warehouse was his personal collection… must of been between 15-20 cars all Toyotas.. really cool to see someone with a passion for cars actually allow the general public to see the cars.. guys (brothers) started in 1999 or something and exited for $60 000 000.. unfortunately the size and scale of the business hasn’t generated them a very good name in the industry. I asked the owner if they’ll accept BTC and they said it’s too complicated.

Maybe at $10 000 000 they’ll make the effort..

YEAH - APPRECIATE THAT.. MY THINKING IS THAT SPENDING THE BTC ISNT SMART UNTIL IT STABILIZES WITHIN 5 YEARS.. THATS MY TIME HORIZON AT LEAST THEN RE-LOOK AT PURCHASING POWER..

I’m in the US but i had a friend in SA get a second hand one from them with bitcoin, a so so experience but possible.

there was a press release a couple years ago that someone bought a Ferrari with BTC.. not many car dealerships are clued up on btc - also because the business is so dodgy they need to manage cashflow very well.
