There is a piece of software called ‘video downloader’ in the snap store for Ubuntu. You can download YouTube videos or convert them into audio files.

I was curious and tried downloading a Netflix video with it. And it kinda worked!except it downloaded a trailer for the video. But it shows that the principle is there it’s just hidden behind some code wizardry.

I am not a programmer. I looked through the web page code for the video for another url link that would work. Tried a few but nothing worked. Any Shady Supercoders out there know if/what the step forward might be?
