I speak about nostr on r/bitcoin probably more than Bitcoin at this point.

I feel like there's probably a #rebuildreddit out there but then I remember I'm already getting more from Nostr than some sort of admin hub.
New people getting into bitcoin land there 50% of the time, and they need help… how to set up wallets, how to setup nodes, what exchanges to buy from etc etc
Gotta help the new comers, this isn’t about social media. This is about the Bitcoin community.

I used to be a browser for questions I had there, but it definitely needs more focus like that. Not number go wow investment portfolio nonsense 😂🫂🫡

My biggest fear is people thinking I’m shilling a crypto or something.
But to fair. Anytime I say nostr on r/bitcoin I get at least 10 upvotes.
Hopefully gives the doubters some confidence in trying it out.
💯 then someone starts yelling about big blocks and Roger or proof of stuck.
Just because protocol and private keys are brought up.
We've got a language of global monetary settlement and now an open protocol of free speech and communication.
It might be shoddy, not completely user friendly and unstable sometimes, but something is different about this.
