COVID cases are rising in California as the FLiRT subvariants spread.
“COVID-19 concentrations in WASTEWATER have suggested increases in several regions across California since early May. Test positivity for COVID-19 has been slowly increasing since May,” the California Department of Public Health said in a statement on Friday, according to the LA Times.
