Thank you so much, tigs! Forgive my ignorance, but I don't know what you mean by "put the invoice in the note."
Ah with your LN wallet, you can usually choose to set the amount you want to get paid by going into 'receive'. When you do this it generates a fresh 'invoice', this huge string of stuff can be sent to someone elses wallet which in turn pays the exact amount of sats which the requestee asked for. I'll see if it works here...
