Watching/passively listening to this documentary and seeing all these names that talk about bitcoin and its properties and the revolutionary tech. How did they lose sight on the end goal and start shitcoining and get caught up with scams?

A recognition that fiat-clown-world has created a near endless supply of greater fools who can be reliable bag holders for a scam, the temptation to exploit the fools who weren’t equipped to see the scam for what it is, and a lack of moral character which would normally prevent someone from pursuing exploitative strategies to acquire wealth.
Or you just trade against them and turn their stupidity into sats. sats gotta come from somewhere.
Understanding Bitcoin as tech that can be copied and reimplemented as desired was and is part of the problem
