It’s interesting to me when people say that if you’re just now getting into Bitcoin that you’re too late (too late for what exactly?) — the same thing people said 10 years ago. I imagine that people will say the same thing 10 years from now. 🤷♂️

Back in 2016, I tried to onboard a acquaintance into Bitcoin. He was very straight edge and proper and he owned a health food store and I wanted to work with him to have him accept Bitcoin, have a Bitcoin ATM at the store, resell/affiliate hardware wallets, etc.
The price was about $10,000 (later in the year).
He said "I feel like I missed the boat on that one so I will have to pass."
I said "Thats what everyone said said when it went up from 200 to 1000, you should really try, its never too late, its going up forever."
He said: "No thanks i'll pass".
Sadly, his store has gone under since then.
Fast forward to 2021, met a drug dealer through a friend who had access to free electricity. Orange pilled him right away. He bought a handful of Bitcoins at $20k and never looked back.
The guy sticks his neck out for me now and drives insane distances fuck up anyone who threatens me or messes with me.
He bought 12 asic miners and is raw doggin it at his hair and nail salon that sees ZERO nail and hair customers now, all the rooms are being repurposed for Bicoin mining and ventilation.
He is also helping me with my electrical, plumbing and renovations at home to facilitate mining here, all done. Treats me better than my closest friends do and brings over free laptops (yes im fully aware they are probably off the back of a truck lol), building materials, and all kinds of hardware that I need.
Somehow this guy didn't feel he missed the boat even though he bought in at double the price that was available to him...
That’s a pretty awesome story. So underground and cypherpunk. Thanks for sharing. Love it!
