People are astonished when I tell them I’ve stopped watching cable network news and mostly avoid mainstream journalism at this point. I used to be a hardcore junkie for that stuff, and it only left me stressed out and full of opinions approved by corporations.

We always had some kind of news on the tv growing up, even on the international channels, I loved it, but now not so much

We had a TV growing up, but it was used very rarely and pretty much only for movies. Never had cable or anything like that.

I feel incredibly lucky for that.
