I would be happy to have public voting. Some want to trust relays for other stuff, so there, "anon voting" could also be anon towards all but the relay.

In nostr there is quite some fragmentation going on. Damus lets you "like" stuff that isn't supported by most clients, Astral lets you DM which isn't supported by some neither. In which client would you want to do polls?
The spec might not be easy to agree on.
Damus web most likely, as it needs to have the easiest & best UX possible for non-techies, but would also require key pair creation be added to Damus web. I'm open to solutions.
