Oh, surprise (not)! The new CEO at Binance. I'm sure it's just coincidence and it absolutely was not part of the extortion deal by the US DOJ to let CZ go, to put a WEF thug in his place!

One of the things that make me keep a certain distance from the label, rhetoric and "community" of Bitcoin maximalism is this stunningly stupid cheering of any action that the Global Corporate State conducts against the mostly imagined enemies of maximalism.

Choosing the US DOJ and its WEF cronies over a CZ-run Binance? Not me, ever, sorry.

That's the whole deal, yeah. Now the US government directly controls the two largest centralized exchanges, Binance and CoinBase. This is a move that both factions of the Corporatist regime can get behind of. For the pro-co-option faction (BlackRock, JP Morgan, etc) the benefit of eliminating a "rogue" actor like CZ is obvious. For the prohibitionist faction (the Dem party, the bureaucracy and its ossified bankster cronies), it is a net positive too. Both win, Bitcoin and the plebs lose.

OFAC is now monitoring n white/blacklisting/kyc any whale bitcoin address which will transact onchain with chainanalysis similar firms. basically anyone ramping is in multiple agency DBs already.

those coins cannot enter banking ramps easily.

only way bitcoin wins by circular economy which MICRO SIZE NOW + micro directing spending n accumulating in salvador brazil germany etc.
