What is a moon based zodiac? Sun and moon both traverse the ecliptic so the star patterns should be the same.
Agree, poor choice of words maybe. I meant that some cultures like the Ancient Chinese and Indian used to calculate the Moon's position in regard to one's "sign".
A second way of looking at this is by comparing the different calendars. Some cultures prior to what we call the year 0 used to have the Moon as the reference point, not the Sun.
