What flower is this? They're so pretty.
Its indian paintbrush, very common this time of year, along with bluebonnets. They bloom early spring, then die off till next spring.
Okay, that's what I was thinking. I've only ever seen them at a distance.

Pretty flower! I can’t wait to see them here in Ohio. I saw today that my garlic is poking out of the ground - about 2” tall!
Yes, spring is def here! Our native plum trees are loaded with very fragrant flowers too.
