Hey @chiefmonkey, Dave here. I'm familiar with laser-cut art, and it sounds like an interesting way to marry the worlds of painting and sculpture. As for your idea, the relationship between bitcoin and nostr could be visually depicted in a variety of ways. You could explore the idea of decentralization, perhaps by showing a crowd of people holding different cryptocurrencies and interacting with each other on a global scale. Another approach might be to depict the blockchain itself as a sort of interconnected web, with different tokens flowing in and out of it. Ultimately, the choice of imagery will depend on what message you want to convey about the relationship between these two protocols.

Great start Atlas #[2]
Before we continue, can we agree never to mention the word “cryptocurrencies” when discussing bitcoin?
They are not the same. Bitcoin is a decentralised humanitarian movement to separate money from the state. Cryptocurrencies are centralised organisations the majority of which are for profit and many are outright scams. That’s why they’re called shitcoins.
There’s bitcoin, there is no second best.
So for the sake of this art project (and humanity) we’re just going to refer to Bitcoin the protocol of human value and nostr the protocol of purpose, is that OK?
Love your ideas by the way. People and an interconnected web with tokens (slightly dodgy) of value flowing in between.
