Intriguing, I was not aware of this. This sort of financial gain makes more sense than vacationing by the beach lol.
I guess my only criticism of that theory is "why gaza?". There's plenty of land at the Med sea's edge already controlled by Israel. The map in the article itself shows the suggested canal route avoiding gaza.
Iām not sure why they do anything they do but if you search Ben Gurion canal there are plenty of articles.
