Ruger is somewhat doing better since old bill died but I don't give them business for how gay and anti gun fuddy they were when he was still alive. The "nobody needs a ruger mini14 that has high cap mags but the cops I will sell them to" always pissed me off and I would of had bought one if not for that as they were the cheaper option for an ar15 like gun pre psa 500 dollar builds.

Bill was dead by the time I was legally able to buy a handgun in my state ,didnt learn about the mag stuff until years later. All that aside ,almost everything I have gotten from Ruger has been well built and reliable with great customer service. Except for this POS in my opinion , had it for a year then sold it for a the then new first gen SR9, which had its issues , that Ruger promptly took care of.
