Nothing like a long power outage to make you realize how good we had (and still have) it here in the U.S. So many things we (I) take for granted. Power to charge electronics. Internet/WiFi for entertainment. Coffee grinder. Modern appliances. Freezer for meat. Lights. Heat. Necesseties just up the road in every form. Gasoline to power our stuff and in plentious supply. Friendly neighbors to help and be helped by.

The free market, and liberty, gave us most of this. Western Civ gave us most of this.

Why would anyone want to destroy these Blessings of Liberty?

you think it was the "blessings of liberty" or that the people were blessed with dominion and graced with plenty due to their faith ?

kind of an important distinction...

if all of this "progress" is directed toward automated anal augmentation surgeries, then maybe the conveniences arent worth it...

i might suggest that it was not liberty, but rather self-imposed LIMITATION that bestowed the abundance.
