He saw me grab the bucket and ran to grab a sponge.

Not because it was his job. But because it was mine.

Our kids want to be with us in the small stuff.

Not later. Not when it’s convenient.

He didn’t want to wash the truck.

He wanted to be part of what I was doing.

So we made a mess. Laughed a lot.

And yeah, the truck got clean, too.
