So much connectivity issues with my lightning node on Umbrel i'm struggling a lot. Keep working on it!
yes running LND is challenge but not impossible (it is not passive task like running bitcoin node or electrumserver) - you have to actively spend time on it - LND must online 24/7 to accept payment

All novice users ! can just run a bitcoin node (disablewallet=1) whenever / wherever u can - in ur existing old hardware - X86 or any platform -
(Windows Mac OS X Linux AM64 ARM Linux) without buying expensive hardware (if beyond your affordability or reach - in pruned mode) - add/install in old android phone or tv or media or home file server - in its most basic mininal form
