Nostr devs waste a lot of time reinventing the wheel, just to end up with a medicocre wheel with N-O-S-T-R written on the side.
It feels like equal opportunity stuff, where we're supposed to get excited about something, because it's the first time a "black-French-lesbian-with-chronic-magnesium-deficiency-who-plays-tennis" did something.

Yup. You can't just do the same thing a different way. You need to do something completely new, preferably by removing steps. Kind of like how Amazon allows us to shop without the bother of going to the store.
Yeah, people wonder what is taking us so long, with #Alexandria, but we're inventing something completely new, that was never feasible and efficient before Nostr. We actually have to sit down and think this all through. Same way the relay-community guys are sort of inching their way forward.
This stuff is legit hard. 😂 This is real software engineering and computer science.
But this is where Nostr's justification will arise.
