I agree with pretty much everything you’ve said, and am hopeful he levels the playing field for the consumer. At scale, this is definitely important. Especially when it comes to pricing advantages for certain crap.

…But on the point that everyone shouldn’t be an MD or whatever: we literally have AI in our pocket now. If people can’t make their own choices today then we’re fucked.

We don’t need government to solve this, but we have a window of opportunity where they *seem* to be on our side.

Personally, I use a tool called Yuka, there is a Foss software similar to it but I don't utilize it that software since it's not as good as Yuka.

Now, of course it's not perfect but I use it as quick tool to make more informed decisions when I don't feel like going a schizo 50 webpage search to see if this particular brand of food™ will give me testicular cancer, or some hormonal issue, etc.

Yuka is great! I use it all the time too.

While I’m generally against government intervention, the European food system is clearly better in so many ways. Food is healthier, bread is less toxic, vegetables are their natural colour, there’s less sugar pumped into everything. It just tastes better too.
