Someone told me: #nostr is just an echo chamber and therefore has no value.
Me: I'd rather be in an echo chamber that's full of right ideas, insights, and camaraderie than anywhere else.

It’s an echo chamber, but the thing being echoed is “how do we make this a protocol for everyone?”
Make the chamber inviting for everyone. Many like myself at times have questions but feel stupid for asking them. But I realized most want to help onboard newbies like myself and answer questions. Thanks to all those who have helped me figure this all out!
