Don’t have much to contribute to this one but I am interested in some of the responses. I think I’ve won the lottery in terms of being born in a place & time where there is very little real oppression in my life and I’m generally free to do as I please. The issues we have with central banking have always been a standout issue for me - but this issue pales in comparison to the real oppression most people have been subject to across history.

Lots of responses here that have to do with spirituality & nature - if anything, I feel like those things are most important to me as well. The other side to “freedom” is the weight and responsibility to bear it. Someone who has freedom and no self-control is still a slave to their own impulses.

Really important to meditate, touch grass, self-reflect and course correct if you want to maximize the gifts of freedom that we have inherited

thank you for your 2 sats shogun! :) i like how you brought mental freedom into the conversation. we can think of an ideal world where we can do as we please, but if we live for pleasure, we might as well be prisoners of whatever addictions that might come from that pleasure. it’s ok to seek ‘good feelings’ as long as those are not separating us from other forms of growth
