I’m leveling up my #bitcoin game and got myself my first hardware wallet.
What’s some pitfalls and cautions to consider?
I know this community are the right people to ask.
I bought it directly from the manufacturer which seems to be rule nr. 1 for hardware wallets.

My first piece of advice would have been to avoid Ledger.
I also started with a Ledger and still use it
However, a hardware wallet with open-source code is ideal for storing large amounts

Not yet! I started to look into setting it up, but was interrupted by the kids and never got back to it.
Only thing I know is that you need to buy it directly from the manufacturer to minimize the chance of getting a device that’s been tampered with
I actually went with a ColdCard Went too far down the rabbit hole 🐇
