Primal on iOS doesn't allow you to add a NWC node, but it would be nice if you're region locked to not have the wallet icon show up? The Android version allows you to zap from the built-in in wallet or your own with NWC. Damus is a great app though. You should love it. Did you enable Zaps with the external script?

As for Primal, yeah I agree - should be an option just to remove the wallet section completely from the taskbar, removed from the UI or hidden in the pull out settings instead.

I actually hated using Primal purely for this reason, having a feature front & centre that was actually useless to me was a big turn off.

But of course, I’d also like to be able to connect up my LND to Primal too, just like I can with Damus.

My only negative so far with Damus is the fact it won’t accept my nostr relay link, not even the .local version.

Oh. Have you tried putting in the local IP address? Since it's local is it a secure web socket or just web socket? wss://1.2.3.4 vs ws://1.2.3.4

Great news, I’ve managed to get it to connect to the local link

I’m not sure why it wasn’t working, I simply uninstalled my relay, reinstalled & it gave me a new relay link - it now shows as connected. 💪

Yeah, my whole node & network run behind a VPN, i did wonder if that had an affect, but I guess not.

The local relay link is now connected.

Onwards & upwards! 👌🏻

New Node, LND/Zeus sorted, NWC (NoStrudel & Damus) & Nostr relay sorted.

Things are going well. 😁
